Kid Rock Just Released a Statement About Running for US Senate in 2018

(ANTIMEDIA) — Bawitdaba…It looks like it’s happening. The rumors started Wednesday afternoon after self-proclaimed American bad-ass, Kid Rock, posted a brief but politically breathtaking message to his Twitter account:

“I have had a ton of emails and texts asking me if this website is real… The answer is an absolute YES.”

Speculation has run wild over the past 24 hours that Kid Rock, AKA Bob Ritchie, will actually try to unseat Michigan Senator Debbie Stabenow from her seat in 2018. Ritchie, who has expressed support for Donald Trump’s presidency, issued a statement on his website Thursday afternoon to give the state’s residents a picture of what to expect on their on their ballots in 2018. After WWE Hall of Famer Donald Trump shocked the world in November by beating Hillary Clinton for the presidency, only God knows why the Born Free singer couldn’t be Michigan’s next representative in the US Senate.

You can read the statement in full below:

“Once again the press is wrong. First of all, I’ve got 15 days from my announcement to file paperwork with the FEC! Second, I’m not signed to Warner Bros!!! – which simple fact-checking would have revealed. I have recently worked out a unique deal with BMG, Broken Bow, CAA and Live Nation to release music ON MY TERMS. Like politicians write books during their campaigns, I’m planning on putting out music during mine and IT ALL STARTS TONIGHT AT MIDNIGHT. It’s not a hoax, it’s a strategy and marketing 101! No plans for an album or anything else that has been the usual norm in the music business OR politics…..and…..

“Senator Stabenow and I do share a love of music, although probably not the same kind. I concede she is better at playing politics than I am so I’ll keep doing what I do best, which is being a voice for tax paying, hardworking AMERICANS and letting politicians like her know that We the People are sick and tired of their bullshit!
