(ANTIMEDIA) McDonald’s, a fast-food restaurant rarely regarded as a bastion of health, has finally decided to jump on the vegan bandwagon.
A new menu option being promoted by the chain, currently on a trial run in Finland, is known as the McVegan (because of course it is). The faux-burger features a soy-based patty along with salad and a new McFeast dressing.
If you are interested in trying the McVegan, you may have to wait a while, as it is only available for a limited time until November 21 and only in the city of Tampere, Finland. Though there is no word yet on if the ‘healthier‘ food option will be rolled-out as a permanent fixture throughout multiple markets, it is possible that the sandwich will be coming to a McDonald’s near you if it is a success at its current trial location.
Would you be brave enough to try the McVegan?
